ON TO THE TEMPERATE HOUSE.........
The big boy Chilean wine-palm!
The worlds largest surviving Victorian glass structure, the Temperate House is another of Kew's 39 unique listed buildings. At 4,880 square feet it is the largest glasshouse at Kew. It houses the worlds largest indoor plant, the Chilean wine-palm which is 16 metres high and growing!
