KEW ROYAL BOTANNICAL GARDENS: 250 YEARS

LONDON CALLING..... AGAIN!

There will be a few seperate threads to this London trip, there are lots of pictures, educational bits and witty remarks to get to.....so hang on!
THE LONDON EYE

So, much thanks to The Fantastic Four for saving the London Eye from the Silver Surfers rampage through the UK! It truely is a sight you must see in person one day. While many love the fantastic ferris wheel, many of the locals merely see it as an London EYEsore.

It was the largest ferris wheel in the world when it was constructed in 1999, but was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang in 2006 and then the Singapore Flyer in 2008.

ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL

Not surprisingly, St. Paul's Cathedral sits on the highest point of the city of London and holds the seat to the Bishop of London. It remains one of Londons most visited sites despite its occupancy. No pictures allowed inside so here are a few of the exterior which are truely amazing as was the interior. The gardens surrounding the exterior were also amazing. For some reason, I don't know why, my skin burned while I walked around the property???

Heading over there, now you see why my feet hurt like HELL!

Getting ready to cross the Millenium Bridge, still a ways to go!

Finally!!!! Jesus!!! Oops.....sorry!

Was that lightning? They were not calling for rain today?????

OK, more to follow...............
